Likeable & Well Rounded Professional's

Our business is fly fishing, we live it, love it, and dream about it when we are not doing it. It is our fortune that we have found a way to do it as professionals. When we are not guiding or fishing, we are usually in the fly shop helping a customer, and resting our backs from some hard days of rowing!
Our guide staff has been photographed, written about, quoted, and referenced
in almost every major fly fishing publication. We have a published
writer on staff and few aspiring ones as well. Our crew has been a
part of producing several fishing videos and has plans to create their own
series of fly fishing adventure videos sometime down the road. For now
though, we enjoy guiding too much to get distracted!
You will find true pro's at Red's no matter what adventure that you decide
to pursue. From top to bottom we are the guides that can teach you
exactly what it takes to be successful. Whether it is spey casting for
summer Steelhead, Smallmouth Bass on the fly, Carp, or just a day of drift
boat fishing on the Yakima River, our diverse staff will pair you with the
right guide for the job. This includes teaching first time anglers and
providing the right strategy for the skill level involved. You won't
find us trying to fish indicators, 6X, 2 flies, and split shot in the wind
with a first time angler. We keep it fun, basic, and efficient and
always keep the client's personal goals in mind when planning our day.

Enthusiasm & Patience
These are all words that describe our staff. We enjoy the hard physical work involved in guiding and we take pride helping each customer that is gracious enough to walk through our door. From our clean boats to our well prepared lunches to our built-in shuttle service, you will notice quality at every level of our guide service.
All fishing guides develop successful strategies for catching fish. If that has not been accomplished, one would not be a fishing guide for long. However, the guides’ ability to teach these techniques, and communicate these methods in a positive manner, are what make a day on the water truly worthwhile and enjoyable.
Our goal for you at the end of the day is not just that you have had a good time and caught fish; rather, we hope you’ve had a great time and know how and why you caught fish. We also love to laugh, joke, and have fun. It is an important part of the trip and something that should always be there, even if the fish are not!
First time angler?
No problem. Our staff thrives on their ability to teach what they know
with simple and fun terms and instruction. Our guest list at Red's is
built from teaching new anglers how to cast, mend, and fish effectively.
Likewise, we are able to help intermediate to advanced anglers grow and
develop stronger casts and more advanced techniques. All while doing
so without a hint of condescension or "know it all" ego involved. You
will only find true gentlemen at Red's.
